JA Bulgaria is a leading non-profit organization and a proud member of JA Worldwide, one of the largest youth-serving networks globally. For 27 years, we have been equipping young people with the skills needed for success in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career readiness.
Annually, we reach over 30,000 high school and university students in Bulgaria, helping them develop essential business and leadership skills. Our programs are globally recognized for their impact, and JA Worldwide has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for the fourth consecutive year.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities to expand JA Bulgaria’s impact.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure corporate sponsorships and strategic alliances.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, educational institutions, and key stakeholders.
- Write compelling proposals and presentations for potential sponsors and donors.
- Represent JA Bulgaria at industry events, conferences, and networking activities.
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, website content, email campaigns, and SEO.
- Create compelling storytelling and marketing materials (brochures, presentations, digital content).
- Lead and optimize PR campaigns, including media relations and outreach.
- Oversee the execution of JA Bulgaria’s flagship initiative – “Manager for a Day”, ensuring a strong communication plan and partnerships.
Program Growth & Innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative business initiatives.
- Identify new revenue streams and funding opportunities.
- Analyze data and trends to measure marketing effectiveness and partnership ROI.
The Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of experience in business development, marketing, PR, or strategic partnerships.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with experience in B2B collaborations.
- Proven success in crafting and implementing strategic marketing and growth initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills in both Bulgarian and English.
- A creative and data-driven mindset, with digital marketing and CRM experience.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects from concept to execution.
